The short version
OverkillGamer stores only the information needed to save your gear, operate builds and accounts, keep the service secure, and measure aggregate affiliate-link activity. We do not sell personal information, and affiliate click records do not contain a user ID or IP address.
Information kept in your browser
Guest preferences, saved-product identifiers, and the private capability used to manage a guest build may be stored locally in your browser. Clearing site data can remove that local access. Signing in can synchronize supported saved products, settings, and builds to your account.
Account and build information
Passwordless sign-in uses your email address and an authentication session. If you use account features, we may store your profile, preferences, saved-product identifiers, builds, slots, Add-ons, and selected products. Builds are private by default.
If you explicitly enable sharing, the generated URL is a bearer link: anyone who has it can view and forward the read-only build. The shared view does not expose your user ID or edit authority. Disabling sharing invalidates the link without deleting the build.
Affiliate links
When you use a paid link, our server records the internal product, verified merchant, placement, optional guide or playstyle context, and timestamp. These records help us understand aggregate outbound activity. They do not contain a user ID or IP address, and they do not tell us whether you completed a purchase unless a merchant separately reports an eligible conversion through its own program.
Service providers and operational logs
Supabase provides authentication and database services, while Vercel hosts the application. Like most hosted services, they may process technical request information such as network address, device or browser details, and security logs to deliver and protect the service. OverkillGamer does not currently run client-side behavioral analytics or advertising-tracker cookies.
Your controls
You can remove saved products, delete builds you control, revoke a build share link, sign out, or clear local browser data. Account and content records persist while needed to provide the features you use; infrastructure and security logs follow the applicable service provider's operational retention practices.
To ask about your information or request account-data assistance, email contact@overkillgamer.com. We may need to verify that you control the relevant account.
